Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. She appeared with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. After appearing in bit parts in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comic in the year 2011. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs, sitcoms, and other similar programs. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing frequently in panel programs. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is one of the most popular contestants on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to be awarded the So You Think You're Funny award. She uses the surnamed Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she was thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea was raised with her older sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. The family was obsessed with race meetings and horses. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her early days. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to be as a profession and preferred to perform.
